Leslie-Anne Lewis

Leslie-Anne Lewis is a Human Resource professional with over 25 years of experience in various Human Resources and Labour Relations roles.  She is known as a courageous, passionate, outspoken leader and colleague.

Leslie-Anne was appointed as Director Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in January of 2021.  In her role she is responsible for developing and implementing CN’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy that will  a foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace.   She works closely with leaders at all levels and teams to ensure that CN’s processes and policies reflect the ambition to have a more inclusive and representative workforce, and she creates programs that support the organization in embracing its differences.

She has held roles with responsibility for legislative compliance and reporting on Employment Equity and Official Languages, hybrid HR/LR Manager roles with both Operations and Corporate functions, and centre of expertise positions related to talent and performance management and succession planning.

Leslie-Anne holds Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Mc Gill University, a Masters degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Queen’s University and completed an executive coaching certification from Royal Roads University.
