RAC Announces Departure of CEO
OTTAWA, January 10, 2025 – The Railway Association of Canada (RAC) today announced the departure of President and Chief Executive Officer Marc Brazeau, effective February 28, 2025, after nearly seven years of dedicated service.
RAC Chair, Janet Drysdale, stated: “We thank Marc for his leadership and all his contributions, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Under Marc’s leadership, the association advocated on behalf of its members on a number of key regulatory and policy files while building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including elected and government officials. During Marc’s tenure, RAC has achieved success on numerous fronts, including industry advocacy, railway training programs, awareness campaigns and industry leading research and communications.
“Leading the incredible team at RAC has been a privilege since day one. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together and am confident that the association is well-positioned for continued success,” stated Brazeau.
