Youth In Rail – Amanda Myerson

Meet Amanda Myerson, an Instructional Designer intern at VIA Rail. 

Working in the Learning & Development, Employee Experience department, Amanda conducts needs assessments to create training programs. She supports the design and development of classroom and online training materials and is redesigning a customer service workshop for on-train service employees. 

Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Ottawa and a master’s degree in educational technology from Concordia University. 

She looks forward to working as an instructional designer as part of a training and development team in the corporate or government sector.
