Exhibit Space, Sponsorships Sales Begin March 17 for RSI/CMA 2014
Exhibit space sales for RSI/CMA 2014, the Railway Supply Institute’s annual trade show, will begin Monday, March 17. Sponsorship sales for both RSI/CMA and Canadian Rail Summit 2014, hosted by the Railway Association of Canada, will also open March 17, conference organizers announced today.
RSI/CMA 2014 will take place September 21 -23 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal (Montreal Convention Center). The first-ever Canadian exhibition will combine the exhibits of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI) and the Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers (CARS) in addition to the technical and educational sessions of the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA). This year, Canadian Rail Summit 2014, hosted by the Railway Association of Canada (RAC), will be held in conjunction with RSI/CMA 2014.
More information about RSI/CMA 2014 can be found on the RSI website at http://rsiweb.org/trade_shows/rsicma2014/exhibitor/ which includes a floor plan, show hours, and exhibit space pricing. Space preference will be given to RSI, CARS, and RAC members and previous exhibitors through a points system.
Trade show exhibits will be hosted by the RSI, and members of CARS and RAC will have access to the RSI exhibit space at the RSI member rate. The exhibit hall will feature over 140 exhibits and 30,000 square feet of space. Meals and receptions will be held on the exhibit hall floor.
Sponsorships will be available at both RSI/CMA and the Canadian Rail Summit to companies seeking to raise their visibility at this combined rail industry event. Sponsorship opportunities include food functions, technical sessions, exhibition hall signage, promotional items for attendees, an online floor plan and event app, and more.
In addition to the exhibits, attendees can expect more than 50 technical and educational presentations from the Coordinated Mechanical Associations, with additional educational sessions hosted by RAC at the Canadian Rail Summit.
The Coordinated Mechanical Associations include Air Brake Association, Inc. (ABA), International Association of Railway Operating Officers (IAROO), League of Railway Industry Women (LRIW), Locomotive Maintenance Officers Association (LMOA), and Mechanical Association Railcar Technical Services (MARTS).
Online registration for RSI/CMA 2014 and hotel room reservations will begin on June 2; expected attendance for the combined events is 1,500.
