Youth In Rail – Quinlan Kane

Meet Quinlan Kane, a Hydrogen COE summer student at CPKC. 

As an Engineering Assistant, he assists the mechanical and electrical teams with design work, test support, and 3D printer support. 

Quinlan is currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Waterloo. He is interested in green energy technology and new transportation technologies. “I’m also interested in learning about railroads and how everything from locomotives to rail cars to fault detection works,” he says. 

He wants to continue working on green transportation technologies and innovative transportation ideas.
